If 50% of the returning Salmonids spawn in the Trinity River (that stat is from scientific studies), the lowest reaching tributary River to the Klamath River, then do 25% spawn in the Forks of the Salmon River? Then do 12.5% spawn in the Scott River, then do 6.25% spawn in the Shasta River, then, after 296 miles of spawning up the Klamath River, would 3.125%(?) spawn in Shovel Creek if Iron Gate and Copco Power-Stations were to be removed? Would the salmonids have to relearn to do that since it has been 100 years since they would have returned thence?

Then how many would be left to spawn in Rock Creek, which is in Oregon, miles above Shovel Creek? Less than 1.5%?

Point is, the law of diminishing returns would say that removing Iron Gate Dam, Copco Dams and Reservoirs, in Siskiyou County on the Klamath River would not be worth the effort, the $Liabilities, or the expense$.
